Photoshop no es solo para trolear a los demás. El fotógrafo de Montreal Conor Nickerson ha creado un proyecto en el que se ha insertado a sí mismo en sus propias fotos de la infancia, entre 1997 y 2005, y los resultados son muy nostálgicos y reales.

"Mientras miraba viejas fotos familiares, me pregunté cómo sería si intentara photoshopearme en ellas," escribe Conor. "Busqué todas las camisetas y gorros viejos que encontré, e intenté revivir mis momentos de la infancia, que son solo un recuerdo lejano, salvo en las fotos."

Conor dice que uno de los mayores desafíos fue igualar la calidad de las nuevas fotos con las antiguas. "Tuve que que desdibujar, afilar y meter ruido para conseguir que pareciera una foto vieja."

"Editar las fotos y mirarlas tan de cerca durante tanto rato, hace que no impresionen tanto, pero cuando las vi todas terminadas, definitivamente me sentí algo raro. Me parece que yo de pequeño y mi yo de ahora nos habríamos llevado bastante bien."
